PRODUCT

Based on user testing, we have selected the design to move forward into the next stage of development.

The main screen is comprised of 15 sexual health topics that users can choose from.  Some topics were changed based on user feedback during the testing phase.  The left side bar of the website includes AMAs, a profile and FAQ's.  The right side bar contains of decision aid feature and contact information.

Users wanted a sense of anonymity on the site, so we have two options.  One, to gather information without a profile; two, to create a profile with an Avatar feature and username to protect identities.

In your profile, you can also save favorite topics to customize your sexual health content.

Internet  is a key opportunity to share sexual health information to adolescents and young adults with a broader reach.  It is a major source of information sharing among people of all ages, genders and orientations worldwide. Technology is now tightly interwoven into our daily lives and we use it to connect to others  and manage many things that are most important to us.

The biopsychosocial model of sexual health is as critical as the biopsychosocial model or health.

It is often overlooked that sexual health is more than a biological process. for our mission to be fully realized, we must advocate for an expanded understanding of sexual health that considers the human aspect of sexual health.

Risks

The internet is a questionable information resource at times.  In order for our design to be viable, we will have to consider securing endorsement from university health centers, Mayo Clinic, Planned Parenthood or other trust-worthy sources.
