PERSONAS
In designing Brenda and Mike, we blended the attributes of our interview subjects to create a prototypical user of each sex. Brenda and Mike are grappling with common, real-life problems that we hope our resource could resolve. In the future, we might love to add to our roster (Brenda and Mike both come from relatively privileged backgrounds, as did our subjects as a whole) but we wanted to rely on the data we gathered from our interviews rather than conjecture based on hypothetical other users. We kept these personas in mind when using the other techniques.

We had already developed parts of what would become Mike and Brenda when we started working on our first storyboard - while most of the work was completed during studio time, we found it difficult to convey the minutiae that make our design "work" in a series of panels. This storyboard later became the basis for the story that we would expand upon in a scenario.
